Most students entering this course of study realize that many of the health disciplines require two- and four- year college programs. Bio-medical Technology focuses on the expanding field of health careers. Students have a variety of laboratory and clinical experiences creating a broad platform from which to make career decisions.

Study involves a practical dimension to the various career opportunities available in the field, American Red Cross CPR/First Aid certification, medical ethics & terminology, universal precautions & safety, anatomy & physiology, medical math, first-level hematology, urinalysis, microbiology, the human service areas of rehabilitation, and Certified Nursing Assistant. Areas of genetics, immunology, cell culture techniques and DNA manipulation are evolving as the newest of technology frontiers and are incorporated as components of this program.
