I hope that this newsletter finds everyone rested from a wonderful summer and excited about coming to school.  It is with great pleasure that I welcome Mrs. Sadler, our new Assistant Principal, to work along side of me as I serve your children!

The academic year 2010-2011 promises to be a productive and fulfilling one, as we strive to fulfill our mission, which is “…to provide an environment which gives all students an opportunity to achieve their greatest potential…” and to “strive for excellence in and atmosphere of mutual respect by nurturing, challenging, and understanding the needs of all its individuals…” 

Our annual “Meet the Teachers and PTA Night” will be held on Monday, September 20^th at 6:30 PM in the gymnasium.  We will inform you of the many opportunities for involvement at AM Waddington School, and the classrooms will be open so you can view the curriculum and meet the teacher.  Our Safety Patrol will be officially sworn in on that night.  I hope to see you all there.

Welcome Back from Vice Principal Cynthia Sadler

Welcome back to school!  I am so excited to work at Waddington School as the Assistant Principal for both Oldham and Waddington Schools.  Mrs. Barlow, the Principal, and I will work together to make this a terrific year for your student. The school hours have changed; school will begin at 8:55 a.m. and end at 3:00 p.m.

We are also maintaining the district calendar for the two schools and events will be posted regularly.  Please check the district calendar and then select this school to know exactly what is happening here.  When you click on an event, you will see notes describing the details of the event.  This should be very helpful in keeping track of the busy life of the school.

Enjoy Labor Day weekend and we look forward to meeting and greeting you on Wednesday, September 8^th!
